Story: This limited reserve lot is from the most prestigious growing region in Germany for white wines, and sourced from a world renowned vineyard. Wehlener Sonnenuhr is a precipitously steep and rocky vineyard which yields some of the most elegant and sophisticated white wines in the world. With only 230 cases available it will go very quick, consider yourself lucky if you found a bottle!

Taste: This is a Spatlese Riesling which is a richer, bolder wine made from riper grapes harvested later than Kabinett. Citrus and apricot flavors hold court in this concentrated white. Crisp and firm, tightening up on the long finish. Mouthwatering.
Parker Review:
Fresh apple in counterpoint with lemon and vanilla-cream.Terrific refreshment on the palate even as it slathers on cream. Bitterness of vanilla bean grapefruit zest along with wet stone add further interest to a long finish. I would anticipate at least 12-15 years of satisfaction.
