DESCRIPTION

This bold Left Bank Bordeaux originates from vineyards that neighbor some of France’s most famous châteaus. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, this full-bodied red is capable of cellaring for years or enjoying now.

Bordeaux’s Haut-Médoc is home to some of the world’s most renowned appellations, including Margaux, Pauillac and Saint-Julien. There, grapes are grown on gravelly soils overlooking the Garonne River. This deep, free-draining soil results in concentrated full-flavored grapes with softer tannins. Nearly a quarter of this wine is aged in French oak barrels for up to 12 months before bottling,
creating a structured yet nuanced wine.

TASTING NOTES

Notes of violets and ripe plums on the nose, this wine is robust but fresh on the palate. Lingering notes of cedar and blackcurrants leave you wanting more of this delicious Bordeaux.
