The Uco Valley is one of the most exciting wine regions in Mendoza, Argentina. High altitudes, warm sunshine and cool nights makes it an idyllic place for growing the early ripening Cabernet Franc. The region’s rocky soils and intense solar radiation create low yields of ripe berries with pronounced aromatics.
Grape bunches are harvested in the early twilight hours and brought to the winery where they are destemmed, crushed, and fermented using natural yeasts. The wine matures in neutral French oak barrels for a year prior to blending and bottling.
